The two companies will join forces to continue innovating upstream by offering the most coveted labels from the most respected names in the Napa Valley and beyond. NAPA, CA – February 4, 2021 – Wine Access, the premier destination for wine discovery professionals, today announced the acquisition of renowned Napa Valley wine retailer, 750 Wines. The two companies will join forces to continue their shared mission and commitment to offering premium limited edition wines.

The founders of 750 Wine, David and Monica Stevens, have been pioneers in the Napa Valley wine industry for decades. They have built deep relationships and trust with their customers through high levels of sales and tasting. Together they have brought some of Napa Valley’s most successful and sought-after wines to market, building deep relationships with leading producers and winemakers. Wine critic Robert Parker Jr. once said, “I was at the opening of St. Helena’s wine store, 750 Wines, the new business of David Stevens and his wife Monica, otherwise known as the coolest person I know in Napa.”

The relationship between the two organizations began when Vanessa Conlin MW, chief wine officer of Wine Access, joined the board of directors of Jameson Humane, Monica and David’s beloved 501(c)(3) registered non-profit organization that improves animal welfare through global collaboration and lifelong education. Their shared love of wine and animals has created a great trust and admiration that will continue as the organizations come closer together.

“David and Monica’s dedication to hosting world-class selections and creating unique tastings that honor the most exquisite flavors is something we look forward to at Wine Access,” said Joe Fisch, CEO of Wine Access. “We are honored to continue the legacy of 750 Wines, bringing the highest quality small production wines directly to the doors of wine lovers across the country.

“It has been an honor and a privilege to build 750 Wines with David and share the world of small production wines made by our friends and colleagues in the Napa Valley,” said Monica Stevens, co-owner of 750 Wines. “We are thrilled to join forces with the Wine Access team. As one of the largest and most respected online wine suppliers, we knew this was the right opportunity to give our members access to a broader selection of iconic and benchmark wines from around the world.

Wine Access will now stock 750 wines and continue to innovate forward for its customers across the country.
