The 20th anniversary of the organization is celebrated with a new corporate identity. WALLA WALLA, WA – The Walla Walla Valley Wine Alliance today unveiled a new brand that highlights the region’s commitment to world-class wines and unparalleled wine experiences. In addition to the new look, the Walla Walla Valley Wine Alliance will change its name to Walla Walla Valley Wine.

This year our organization celebrates twenty years of representing the Walla Walla Valley wine industry and we look forward to entering the next decade with a new brand identity, shares Robert Hansen, Executive Director of Walla Walla Valley Wine. As Walla Walla Valley continues to evolve, the new brand allows us to highlight the exceptional community of winemakers and producers, as well as the accessible and immersive wine region experience unique to Walla Walla Valley Wine.

The brand was developed in partnership with Seattle-based creative marketing agency Green Rubino. It’s a modern rendering of the vineyards in a vibrant color palette inspired by the natural elements of the Walla Walla Valley – from the vine to the sky and from the rock to the bottle. The color of the terracotta in the stamp, for example, is a direct color choice from the oxidized iron found in basalt, a fundamental element of the region’s terroir. The organization’s former visual identity was last updated in 2008. Since then, the wine and hotel industry in the region has grown significantly.

It was important for us to honor our heritage while aligning the brand with the dynamic growth of the region, says Josh McDaniels, Chairman of the Board of Walla Walla Valley Wine and CEO and Director of Winemaking for Bledsoe Wine Estates. Our commitment to collaboration, innovation and producing the highest quality terroir in the Walla Walla Valley has grown over the past 13 years alone. The exciting design of the new brand invites you to be part of the next era of Walla Walla Valley wine.

Located in southeastern Washington State and northeastern Oregon, the Walla Walla Valley has nearly 3,000 acres of vineyards and more than 120 wineries producing a wide range of quality wines in a variety of styles. The Walla Walla Valley Wine offers a complete wine experience with a concentration of wineries nearby, making it easy to explore the valley.  The ever-changing wine, food and restaurant scene makes the Walla Walla Valley a great place to revisit – there’s always something new to try.

The launch coincides with an overhaul of the Walla Walla Valley Wines website, social channels and the Walla Walla Valley Wine Guide, which includes enhanced visitor information, AVA facts and a new grape variety map to help consumers navigate the region’s wide selection of quality wines. The guide is available in both digital and print form and can be viewed by wine lovers at or requested as a physical copy.
