Napa Valley, 18th. February 2021. Visit Napa Valley, Napa County’s official destination management organization, has welcomed Xavier Roque as Communications Manager, Brittney Ambrosini as Executive Director and Whitney McDonald as Partnerships and Visitor Relations Manager. These new hires are part of Visit Napa Valley’s ongoing commitment to its partners and community and are necessary as the organization intensifies its marketing efforts to reinvigorate visitor spending in the valley.

With the increasing availability of coronavirus vaccines on the horizon, we are optimistic that 2021 will be a successful year for our tourism partners in Napa Valley, said Linsey Gallagher, President and CEO of Visit Napa Valley. These new team members will play an important role in welcoming visitors on their return and ensuring they have access to up to date information on where to go, what to do and how to get there safely.

Xavier Roque, Senior Communications Assistant.

Xavier Roque will support Visit Napa Valley’s social media, community and sales programs. Prior to joining Visit Napa Valley, he was an account manager at Lucas Public Affairs in Sacramento, where he honed his skills in media, strategic writing, planning and research for clients in the tourism, higher education, retail and healthcare industries. Roque has a degree in communications and minors in Spanish and French.

You’re from California, Davis. He is an avid runner and yogi and also loves to travel.

Brittney Ambrosini, office manager.

As Director of the Executive Office, Brittney Ambrosini will provide administrative support to the CEO and oversee the day-to-day operations and procedures of the office, including coordinating Visit Napa Valley board meetings. Prior to that, she spent ten years at Meadowood Napa Valley, most recently as Senior Director of Conference Services, responsible for providing first-class service to business travelers in the Valley. Ambrosini has found a new opportunity to visit the Napa Valley after his post at Meadowood was canceled due to the recent fires. In her spare time, she loves anything outdoors, especially camping with her family.

Whitney MacDonald, Senior Manager Partnerships and Guest Experience

Whitney McDonald joined the Visit Napa Valley team last November in the new position of Senior Manager of Partnerships and Guest Relations. It serves as the primary link for Visit Napa Valley’s travel partners, including hotels, wineries, restaurants, attractions and more throughout the Napa Valley. Whitney is also in charge of the Napa Valley Welcome Center, which recently opened on First Street in downtown Napa. Before joining Visit Napa Valley, Whitney worked as a hospitality manager at Stony Hill Vineyards. With over 18 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Whitney looks forward to sharing her extensive knowledge of tourism and wine education with visitors to ensure they get the most out of their Napa Valley experience. Outside of work, Whitney loves to bake and is passionate about beekeeping.
