The 2018 Graves red and white wines offer serious value with very good style and character. They also sell after the song and drink early. In fact, most of these wines are already very tasty and can be enjoyed upon release.

The following 2018 Graves red and white wines were tasted in my home office under non-blind conditions.

2018 – Bonnat Blanc – Light, fresh and sweet citrus with notes of orange and pineapple to enjoy early. 85 pt.

2018 – Brondelle – A soft, supple, charming, medium-bodied, light wine infused with ripe, sweet red fruit. You can enjoy drinking it when it comes out and in the near future. 88 pt.

2018 – Brondelle White – Light, easy drinking, forward with fresh yellow citrus character on the finish. 84 transactions

2018 – Chantegrive – Forward, medium-bodied, elegant, fresh, soft, tender and smoky. This year’s fruit has very nice notes, good ripeness, liveliness and a little smoke on the red berry finish. 89 Coefficients

2018 – Chantegrive Caroline – Lemon, pear, honeysuckle and green apple fruit are ripe, juicy and fresh. Creamy texture with freshness and lots of pomelo and lemon on the finish, this wine shows really well. 92 pt.

2018 – Chantegrive White – Sweet, fresh, juicy, bright grapefruit, lemon and white peach on the nose and a juicy, creamy palate. It’s perfect for a drink in the near future. 90 pt.

2018 – Clos Floridene – With a fresh, metallic, ripe cherry tone, the wine is medium-bodied, sweet and fruity, with plenty of ripe red plums on the finish. You can drink this wine on the way out. 87 pts.

2018 – Fougeres Clos Montesquieu – Forward, with subtle smoky, espresso and tobacco notes paired with soft, sweet, ripe, medium-bodied red fruit. This elegantly designed early bird is ready for immediate use. 87 pts.

2018 – Haura – Medium bodied, fresh, soft and supple, forward, silky and fresh, you can enjoy this wine right out of the gate and for the next 5-8 years. 88 pt.

2018 – Haut Selve White – There are notes of green apple, spice and citrus in the nose and mouth. The finish has a nice, slightly creamy hue to the citrusy yellow. He is ready to drink now and will be at his best in the next few years. 86 pt.

2018 – Haut Selve – Aromas of smoke, cigar box and tobacco leaf sparkle before the dark red fruit is found. Refined, elegant, soft and polished with a delicate smoked berry red finish. It will be a pleasure to enjoy it when it comes out. 89 Coefficients

2018 – Le Prelat de Pape Clément – The nose of this medium-bodied, soft-textured, cherry-dominated wine shows jammy red fruit with citrus and smoke notes. You can appreciate it on release for all its advanced qualities. 87 pts.

2018 – Le Prelat de Pape Clément Blanc – A fresh, bright and lively shot of yellow citrus with orange, mango and a hint of sour green apple that is already ready to be drunk. It’s perfect for light, summer short use. 88 pt.

2018 – Lesparre Blanc – A light blast of fresh citrus with balanced notes of lemon peel and a touch of honey on the finish. Drink it for a year or two. 84 operations

2018 – Portets White – A fresh, slightly lemony, orangey blend with a slight lemon and spice aftertaste. Drink it for the next 2 or 3 years. 85 pt.

2018 – Portets – Smoky black cherry, licorice and coffee bean seep into the aroma. Medium-bodied, smooth, elegant, forward and easy to drink, the wine shows fresh, sweet, polished, smoky red fruit and spicy coffee notes. You will be able to enjoy it from the moment it comes out and for at least a decade after that. 88 pt.

2018 – Raoul Blanc – A fresh wine with grapefruit, yellow citrus and green apples with hints of vanilla and flowers that is already drinking very well. 89 Coefficients

2018 – Raul – Earthy, spicy, bright red fruit with tobacco and cedar accents open nicely before moving to a medium-bodied core of red fruit on the mid-palate and a softly structured finish. It will be easy to appreciate it when it comes out. 89 Coefficients
